Promouvoir de nouvelles façons de penser la sécurité

Dans un contexte de globalisation, d'interdépendance et d'inégalité, le dialogue interrégional est désormais fondamental pour le développement de nouvelles idées et de solutions politiques pour faire face à la demande croissante des sociétés en matière de sécurité.

Le Consortium Global pour la Transformation de la Sécurité encourage la promotion et le renforcement du dialogue Sud-Sud et Nord-Sud en matière de sécurité et de développement; ceci, afin de permettre une nouvelle compréhension de la sécurité et créer des espaces à l’usage de nouveaux acteurs. Pour cela, il se base sur des réseaux régionaux de travail qui relient de nombreux chercheurs et agents politiques de différentes régions du monde en développement.

Ainsi, le réseau se matérialise sous la forme d’un partenariat entre huit institutions membres provenant de différentes régions du monde.
